Winter time
I like winter season the most. Of course I like summer, because it is warm and there ere a lot of activities in the nature. But winter time is special because of Christmas and white white snow.
This year winter is late. It seems we have autumn instead. People are sad und depressing, cause everything around is grey und dark. The shine of the snow in the sun makes people happier. Children can make snowmen, play with the snow and so on. I wait for snow very much. When it snows, I with my friends plan to go skiing.
It is said if you really want something very much and you believe in it, it will definitely happen I really really want to get up one morning, look through the window and to see everything in white: roads, cars, trees, houses…
And to day is this day!!! Hello winter, hello snow!!!

Snow waiting
Everybody always wait something. One of them wait morning, other people wait evening, spring, something… And I something wait. I wait snow and frost.
Every waiting have reason. My waiting has too. I hate autumn, cold rain and many dirty swamps. I can’t see in the overcast sky, due to it makes me unhappy. So I deliriously want snow. I wait evening when I can see calmly snowing snowflakes and in the morning go to the school over white snow and never to get dirty my shoes. I like a child wait snow for that I can to be on the slippery slope and make snow angels.
In this winter one morning was different. It was white. I momentarily went to outside and tumbled in the snow. There was snowdrift, so I decided to make striking snow angel. I started wave with hands and legs on all sides. Then I awaked to the fact that snow wasn’t enough and I made the snow devil from dirt.
Since that day I have been a long waiting for the snow. And every day I hope that tomorrow will be heavy winter.

This season calendar winter came as usually but real winter for me came recently, because it snowed only few days ago. For me most important holidays in year has very strong associations with snow so celebrating Christmas and New Year without snow was a little bit strange. In such situation I am starting to think that global warming has it’s influence so what weather will be in Lithuania next year? or after 10 years? Maybe in near future bananas will start grow in Lithuania and Lithuania will become real bananas republic 
without having pleasure of having snow. Speaking seriously hope so what next year I will not wait for snow so long, because it’s usual in Lithuania to have four normal seasons!

How soon after the summer and autumn and spring finally approaching winter winter is the time when they can communicate with the family not to go to school as there are sometimes very cold. Sleepy morning... There is a pale rigor outside the window, a TV somewhere is making a variety of movies, and while I’m making my breakfast I suddenly “caught” myself thinking about the smell of snow...
I love winter.
I know that now many of you would throw thick fabric gloves and scarves at me. But I love winter so much. And I feel so sad when the very last hump of dirty snow melts. But it’s still terribly far away up to that moment, so I won’t be sad yet. And a trembling moment such as the first snow is just coming. And that smell... Divine breath of cold, when it’s neither the winter yet nor the autumn still. For that reason alone it is worth to climb out.
But where is the snow? It’s still not there.. After all, it’s so nice having a dinner in a warm house on Christmas Eve to gaze at the huge snowdrift through the window or watch the falling snowflakes. It is nice to escape into the fresh air, clean snow-covered path and build a snowman, dig a carrot instead of nose and black carbons instead of buttons. I’ve terribly missed that so much during the Christmas. Today began to snow, large and soft snowflakes quickly covered the whole earth. They had been falling all day. In the evening I ran outside, fell into the snowdrift and made an angel, this time it brought so much of joy. Oh winter, where have you been during the Christmas?
The chill begins to deepen and winter is probably going to stay longer even though it is late already it’s finally here.
